Banana Breadmaker Recipe


People who own a breadmaker are really very worried because they feel that they cannot make other types of bread with it. The truth is that even these machines can become banana breadmaker by just following some simple, easy steps.


The ingredients that you will need to successfully make banana bread using a banana breadmaker are the following:


260g or 9oz of plain flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of bicarbonate soda
150g or 5oz of caster sugar
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
2 pieces of eggs
2 bananas that are peeled and halved lengthwise


The preparation method should include several steps. The first step is to place the ingredients on the pan of the machine. When everything is already placed, you must now look at the machine’s setting for the dough and start mixing all the ingredients. The mixing process can last from 3 up to 5 minutes, just enough time to completely mash the bananas and to completely mix all the ingredients together. After the mixing is done, it is advisable that you flatten the top of the loaf using a rubber spatula. When this has already been done, it is now okay to bake it for about 50 minutes. But to make sure that the baking process can already be stopped, you can test if the bread is already cooked by inserting a cocktail stick on the top part of the bread. You will know that the bread is done if your stick comes out clean. On the other hand, if some dough got stuck to the stick, you can set the timer again to maybe 10 to 15 minutes. To be sure that it is finally done, you can check it again using the same method. After which, you can already remove the pan from the machine without taking out the bread for 10 more minutes. When 10 minutes has already elapsed, you can now let the bread cool on the wire rack.
